I have a USB drive that holds a large selection of my eclectic collection. Today, the following song came on and, while driving, my attention was caught at precisely this moment….

This has been a difficult few years. Emotions are chaotic and volatile, and this image of Oscar Ramirez and his 23 month old daughter Valeria, this image and the children in American Concentration Camps being denied basic human needs and hygiene, has made me more angry and disappointed in my country and the so called leadership which is taking the concept of “lead by example” to a twisted, grossly contorted, and vile level. The people running this country work for us, not the other way around. I don’t approve of this current administration and will be exercising my rights at the polls.

The song, Cold As It Gets by Patti Griffin from Impossible Dream released 2004. She is a phenomenal artist and has penned such songs as Top of the World, Truth #2, both covered by The Dixie Chicks, and Rain. The following is a sample of the above.
